Ibata's Story

Clay is a material that suits me. I like the feel of it when I make pottery. Shaping  clay is a very gentle and natural art.

The shape I create is a canvas. Using underglaze stain, I paint while ceramic without stopping. I paint them visioning on how they will come out in the end when I am enamel glazing.

To me, pottery making is the moment I can be instinctive asa a bug.
